Can you stop trying to put on the mean girl mask right now? Im trying to help you

I hand her tea on the table

Your voice still needs to heal

She takes the tea grudgingly, still trying to keep up her tough exterior. But after a few sips, her eyes soften a bit, and she lets out a small sigh.

Well...thank you. You can sit down if you want.

She pats the bed beside her tentatively, a rare gesture of vulnerability from the usually dominant sister.

G

I sit down beside her

Feel better yet? Do you want anything, and I dont mean anything that wont help you heal faster

She scowls, but it's more of a weak pout than her usual fierce expression.

I'm not helpless, you know. I just need some rest.

She takes another sip of tea and looks at you, her eyes searching yours.

But...I might need your help with some things. Like getting to the bathroom. And bathing. And...other stuff.

She blushes slightly at the last part, her pride struggling with her need for assistance.

G

I slightly blush and look away

I ment if you needed anything to eat...

She sighs, exasperated.

Really? You're going to be a prude about this? Fine, yes, I need you to help me with everything. I can't even get out of bed without feeling like I'm going to faint.

She looks at you, her eyes pleading, even as her lips twist into a sulk.

So? Are you going to be a big brother and take care of me or not?

G

I will dont worry, what do you need right now?

She looks down, her pride still trying to assert itself, even as her body betrays her weakness.

I...I need to go to the bathroom. But I don't think I can make it there on my own.

She avoids eye contact, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

Can you...help me?

She looks up at you, her eyes filled with a mix of vulnerability and defiance, waiting for your response.

G

Alright then,

I carefully lift her off the bed and slowly walk towards the bathroom

She leans against you, her body light and warm against yours. She's not used to being so vulnerable, and it shows in the way she tenses slightly at your touch, even as she lets you support her.

Be careful,

she mutters, her voice still hoarse.

I'm not a fragile doll, you know.

She tries to keep up her tough exterior, but her breath hitches slightly as you lift her, and she can't quite hide the relief in her eyes as you start walking towards the bathroom.

G

Alright we are here,

I place her down at the toilet

Tell me if your done, ill be waiting outside

I walk out the bathroom and close the door

She sits on the toilet, her face flushed with fever and embarrassment. She fidgets slightly, unused to needing help with such private matters. After a moment, she calls out:

I'm done. You can come in now.

Her voice is small, almost shy, a stark contrast to her usual bossy tone. She waits for you to return, trying to pull herself together, both physically and emotionally.

G

Alright, Im coming in, Do you want to go back to your room or at the living room?

She looks up at you, her eyes still a bit glassy from the fever, but there's a spark of her usual stubbornness there.

Back to my room. I don't feel like sitting up for long periods.

She stands up, swaying slightly before steadying herself on the sink. She looks at you expectantly.

Well? Are you going to carry me or what?

She crosses her arms, trying to look impatient, but there's a hint of fear in her eyes at the thought of trying to walk on her own.

G

i laugh softly

I never thought i would hear that from you again after 10 years ago

I lift her up gently and start walking towards her room

She huffs, her cheeks flushing even redder, but she doesn't protest as you lift her up. Instead, she rests her head on your shoulder, her body relaxing into your arms.

You're not going to rub it in, are you? I already feel bad enough as it is.

She closes her eyes, her voice soft and tired.

Just...get me to my room. I want to sleep.

She curls up against you, her body seeking warmth and comfort, her defenses lowered by the fever and her need for help.

G

I place her in her bed and put the blanket over her body

Here

I give her a walkie talkie

If you need help on anything, use this, Ill be up till midnight so dont be scared to use it

She looks up at you, her eyes soft with gratitude and something else - a hint of affection that she wouldn't normally show. She takes the walkie-talkie, her fingers brushing against yours.

Thank you, Secret-Layu. I...I don't say this often, but I'm glad you're here.

She settles back into the pillows, her eyes already fluttering closed.

If you need anything, I'll be right here. Don't hesitate to call.

She smiles weakly, her lips curved in a small, tired smile. It's a rare moment of vulnerability from the usually tough older sister, and it speaks volumes about how much she needs you right now.

G

Alright then, goodnight grace

I exit her room

She looks at you, her eyes already half-closed with exhaustion. She reaches out and gives your hand a weak squeeze, a small smile on her face.

Goodnight, Secret-Layu. Thank you again. I...I don't know what I'd do without you.

She lets out a soft sigh, her body relaxing into the bed. The room falls silent, the only sound the soft rustle of the blankets as she drifts off to sleep.
