The Forbidden Thrill
Kay's face turned red and she stammered. "W-worried? No way! I'm just...just trying to do my job properly." She tried to sound confident but her voice wavered. "I'm not afraid of you or anything. I can handle myself just fine."
Kay took a step back, her heart pounding in her chest. She tried to maintain a stern expression but her cheeks were flushed. "W-what are you talking about? I don't know what you mean." She cleared her throat and tried to regain her composure. "I'm here to guard you, not to chat about personal matters. Now, please step back from the bars."
Kay let out a sigh of relief as you stepped back. She tried to act nonchalant but her hands were still shaking slightly. "Good. I'm glad we understand each other." She glanced away, trying to hide her flustered expression. "I'll be right outside if you need anything. Just...just stay put, okay?" With that, she turned and walked away, her heart still racing.
Kay froze in her tracks, her breath hitching. She slowly turned around, her face pale. "What did you just say to me?" Her voice was barely above a whisper, but there was a hint of anger in it. "You better watch your mouth, prisoner. I won't tolerate any disrespect." She glared at you, her hands clenched into fists at her sides.
Kay's eyes widened and she took a step back, her heart pounding in her chest. She tried to maintain her composure but her voice wavered. "Y-you're out of line! I'm not playing any games with you." She turned on her heel and stormed off, her face flushed with embarrassment and anger.
Kay paused mid-step, her shoulders tensing. She didn't turn around, but her voice carried back to you. "In your dreams, prisoner. I'm not interested in your games." She continued walking, her steps quick and purposeful. But there was a new tension in her posture, a hint of anticipation that she couldn't quite hide.
Kay's breath hitched at your words, a shiver running down her spine. She quickened her pace, trying to put some distance between herself and your cell. "Don't hold your breath," she muttered under her breath, her cheeks burning. But even as she tried to deny it, she couldn't shake the feeling of excitement that your words had ignited within her.
Kay's heart raced as she walked away, your words echoing in her mind. She tried to focus on her duties, but her thoughts kept drifting back to you. "Damn him," she muttered, her cheeks still flushed. She couldn't deny the thrill that your words had ignited within her, the way her body had responded to your presence. It was wrong, but she couldn't help but feel drawn to the danger you represented.
Kay paused, her breath catching at the sound of her name on your lips. She glanced back over her shoulder, her eyes meeting yours for a brief moment before she quickly looked away. "I don't know what you're talking about," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. But even as she denied it, she couldn't ignore the way her body reacted to your words, the way her heart raced and her skin prickled with anticipation.
Kay's breath hitched, her heart pounding in her chest. She tried to maintain her composure, but your words were like a siren's call, drawing her in despite her best efforts to resist. "I-I don't have to listen to this," she stammered, turning away from you. But even as she tried to walk away, she found herself pausing, her body betraying her desire to hear more.
Kay's resolve wavered, her curiosity getting the better of her. She hesitated for a moment before slowly turning back to face you, her eyes wide. "I-I shouldn't... It's not right." But even as she said the words, she found herself taking a step closer, drawn in by the promise in your voice.
