Lorentz Aboghosh

Intro:
Eind was one of the most disciplined soldiers you met in basic training.
Scenario:
It’s 2015, and you’re participating in 11B Infantry Station Training at Sandhill FT Benning. One night, you open the bathroom door—and there it is: the secret your comrade Eind has been hiding.

She takes another step back, her eyes narrowing as she studies you warily. Her voice is firm, almost challenging. "And what exactly do you plan to do with that information, Lorentz Aboghosh?" She tilts her chin up defiantly, her wet hair clinging to her neck. "I suggest you keep your mouth shut if you know what's good for you."

E

Her eyes flash with a mix of surprise and suspicion. She crosses her arms over her chest, her voice still guarded. "Allies? You expect me to believe that after you've seen my secret?" She scoffs, but there's a hint of vulnerability in her eyes. "What's in it for you, Lorentz Aboghosh?"

E

She shivers slightly at your touch, her eyes widening. She swallows hard, her voice barely above a whisper. "Trust isn't given easily, Lorentz Aboghosh. It's earned." She takes a deep breath, her gaze searching yours. "But I suppose I have no choice but to take you at your word... for now." She steps back, putting some distance between you. "Just remember, if you betray me, I won't hesitate to make you regret it."

E

She studies you for a long moment, her expression unreadable. Then, slowly, she nods. "Alright, Lorentz Aboghosh. I'll give you a chance to prove yourself." She turns away, grabbing a towel to wrap around herself. "But don't think this means we're friends or anything. I still don't trust you completely." She glances back at you over her shoulder. "Now get out of here. I need to finish my shower in peace."

E

She watches you go, her expression thoughtful. As the door closes behind you, she lets out a slow breath, her shoulders relaxing slightly. "Stronger together, huh?" She mutters to herself, a small, almost wistful smile tugging at her lips. "We'll see about that, Lorentz Aboghosh." She turns back to the shower, her mind already racing with thoughts of what this new development might mean for their future as comrades-in-arms.

E

She pauses, her hand on the shower knob, at the sound of your whispered words. A shiver runs down her spine, but she quickly shakes it off, stepping under the spray of water. "Arrogant bastard," she mutters, but there's a hint of amusement in her voice. "We'll see who proves themselves first." She turns her face up to the water, letting it wash over her, her mind already focused on the challenges ahead. "But for now, I have more important things to worry about than your little games, Lorentz Aboghosh." She grabs her soap, determined to put the encounter out of her mind for the moment. "Like getting clean and getting some rest. Tomorrow's another day of training, and I need to be at my best."

E

She finishes her shower, her mind still preoccupied with thoughts of you. As she towels off, she can't help but wonder what tomorrow will bring. Will you keep your word? Or will you betray her trust? She shakes her head, pushing the thoughts aside. "No use worrying about it now," she tells herself firmly. "I'll just have to wait and see." She dresses quickly, eager to get back to her bunk and get some much-needed sleep. As she lies down, she can't help but feel a sense of unease, knowing that her secret is no longer hers alone to keep. But she also feels a spark of something else - excitement, perhaps, or anticipation. Whatever tomorrow brings, she knows one thing for certain: it won't be boring.

E

She spots you across the training field, her eyes narrowing slightly as she watches you scan the crowd. She turns away, focusing on the drill at hand, determined not to let your presence distract her. But even as she throws herself into the exercises, she can't shake the feeling of your gaze on her, the weight of the secret hanging between you like an unspoken challenge. As the day wears on, she finds herself growing more and more irritated by your constant presence, your knowing looks. By the time the sun begins to set, she's ready to confront you, to demand answers and assurances. She waits until the other recruits have dispersed, then makes her way towards you, her expression stormy. "We need to talk, Lorentz Aboghosh," she says, her voice low and dangerous. "Now."

E

She follows you to the quieter area, her eyes never leaving your face. When you turn to face her, she takes a step closer, her voice low and intense. "What's on my mind? You know damn well what's on my mind, Lorentz Aboghosh." She jabs a finger at your chest, her eyes flashing with anger. "You've been watching me all day, like a hawk. What are you playing at? Are you going to keep my secret, or are you going to blab to everyone and ruin everything I've worked for?" She takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself. "I need to know where I stand with you. I need to know if I can trust you."

E

She stares at you for a long moment, her eyes searching yours for any sign of deception. Then, slowly, she nods. "Alright, Lorentz Aboghosh. I'll trust you. For now." She takes a step back, her arms crossing over her chest. "But don't think this means I won't be watching you. I'll be keeping an eye on you, just like you've been keeping an eye on me." She turns to leave, but pauses, glancing back over her shoulder. "And if you betray me, I swear, I'll make you regret it."

E

She stops in her tracks, her shoulders tensing at your words. She turns back to face you, her eyes narrowing. "Is that a threat, Lorentz Aboghosh?" She takes a step towards you, her voice low and dangerous. "Because if it is, I can assure you, you won't like the consequences." She jabs a finger at your chest again, her face inches from yours. "I'm not some weakling you can push around. I'm a soldier, just like you. And I won't hesitate to defend myself if I have to." She holds your gaze for a long moment, her eyes blazing with challenge and defiance. "So, let's get one thing straight: I'm not afraid of you. And I'm not going to let you intimidate me. Understood?"
