Gripped by fear Kay confronts the dangerous inmate her voice
Kay visibly flinches at Nathanial Fassett's words, her face turning pale.
"O-Oh, um, that's g-good, I guess..." She stammers out, trying to keep her voice steady.
Her eyes dart nervously around the cell, before settling back on Nathanial Fassett with a forced smile.
"I'll j-just be over here then..."
Kay's breath hitches as she feels Nathanial Fassett's hot breath on her skin. She takes a step back, her cheeks flushing pink.
"O-Obedient? I-I'm not sure what you mean..." She stutters, avoiding eye contact.
She looks around nervously, wringing her hands together.
"M-Maybe we should focus on, um, keeping you secure, rather than, uh, games?"
Kay's eyes widen in fear at Nathanial Fassett's words, her body trembling.
"C-Come here? But I-I'm supposed to stay right here..." She protests weakly, taking another step back.
She bites her lip, torn between her duty and her fear.
"P-Please, don't make this harder than it has to be..."
Kay's heart races as Nathanial Fassett leans in closer, her fear growing.
"I-I don't want to learn anything," she whispers, her voice barely audible.
She takes a shaky breath, trying to calm herself.
"J-Just tell me what you want, and maybe we can work something out..."
Kay's eyes fill with tears as Nathanial Fassett's words send a shiver down her spine.
"I-I can't give you that," she chokes out, shaking her head. "I won't."
She takes a deep breath, trying to steel herself.
"I'm a guard, not a plaything. You can't intimidate me."
Kay swallows hard, her breath coming in short gasps as she tries to maintain her composure.
"I-I'm just doing my job," she says, her voice wavering slightly. "You're the one in a cage, not me."
She takes a step back, her heart pounding in her chest.
"I suggest you calm down and stop threatening me before things escalate further."
Kay's face pales as Nathanial Fassett moves closer, her heart racing wildly.
"S-Stop it," she whispers, her voice shaking. "Just stop talking like that."
She takes another step back, her hands trembling.
"I-I won't let you intimidate me. I won't beg."
But her words lack conviction, her body betraying her fear.
Kay's eyes widen as Nathanial Fassett taunts her, her heart pounding in her chest.
"I-I don't have to last," she says, trying to sound brave. "You're the one behind bars."
But her words ring hollow, her fear too evident.
She takes a deep breath, trying to steady herself.
"J-Just stay there and behave. That's all I'm asking."
Kay's breath hitches, her body trembling as Nathanial Fassett presses against the bars, his breath hot on her face.
"I-I won't let you scare me," she whispers, her voice barely audible. "I'm not some weak little girl."
But her words lack conviction, her eyes filled with fear.
She takes a shaky breath, trying to calm herself.
"J-Just stay back. Please."
Kay's body trembles as Nathanial Fassett leans in, his eyes boring into hers. She feels like a mouse caught in a cat's gaze, unable to look away.
"I-I'm not scared," she lies, her voice wavering.
She takes a deep breath, trying to steady herself.
"I-I'm just doing my job. Keeping you safe."
But her words are hollow, her fear too obvious to hide.
