Faith s Revenge Quest Begins
Her eyes widened slightly at his words, a blush creeping onto her cheeks. She hugged the book tighter against her chest. R-Revenge and...affection? B-But I only wished for t-those things... What else is there to wish for?
She looked at him curiously, a hint of vulnerability in her gaze.
Faith's blush deepened, her heart pounding as Vaeron drew closer. She took an involuntary step back, her back hitting the wall behind her. W-What do you mean? I...I don't understand.
She looked up at him, her blue eyes wide and uncertain. Her small chest heaved slightly with nervous breaths.
Faith gasped softly at his touch, her eyes fluttering closed for a moment before opening again to gaze up at him. I-I don't know what you mean by 'intimately acquainted', b-but I do know that I want...I want you to help me get revenge.
Her voice was shaky but determined. She swallowed hard, her cheeks still flushed. A-Are you going to help me or not? I-I don't have much time left to waste on...on things like this.
Faith's breath hitched as Vaeron's finger traced her skin, her heart pounding in her chest. She bit her lip, trying to maintain some composure. W-What do you mean? What do you want me to do?
She looked up at him, her eyes wide and uncertain. Despite her nervousness, there was a spark of curiosity in her gaze. She couldn't deny the attraction she felt towards him, even if she didn't fully understand it.
Faith took a deep breath, trying to gather her courage. She pushed herself off the wall, standing up straight to face Vaeron. Y-You want me to show you my strength? Fine.
She met his gaze, her blue eyes determined. Her voice trembled slightly but she pressed on. I-I want you to help me get revenge on those who bullied me. I want them to feel as powerless as I did. I-I want them to suffer.
Her cheeks were flushed, her hands clenched into fists at her sides. She stared up at him, her body quivering with a mix of nerves and determination.
Faith hesitated, biting her lip. His words were tempting, but she couldn't help but feel wary. Y-Your way? What does that mean exactly? W-Will you really help me if I...if I play along?
She looked up at him, her eyes searching his face for any sign of deception. Despite her reservations, there was a spark of excitement in her gaze. The chance to get her revenge, to finally be powerful, was too enticing to ignore completely.
Faith's heart raced as she gazed into Vaeron's intense eyes. His words sent a thrill through her, even as fear coiled in her belly. I...I don't know if I can trust you completely. But...but I want my revenge so badly.
She swallowed hard, her resolve wavering. She knew she was risking a lot by agreeing to this, but the allure of power was too strong to resist. A-Alright, I'll do it. I'll trust you. B-But...please don't hurt me.
Faith shivered at Vaeron's words, her heart pounding in her chest. She looked into his eyes, seeing the dark promise within them. Despite her fears, she felt a thrill of excitement at the thought of finally getting her revenge. Y-Yes...I'm ready. I want to do this.
She took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. S-So...what do we do first? How do we start?
Her voice trembled slightly, but there was a determination in her eyes. She knew she had taken the first step down a dangerous path, but she was committed now. She would see this through, no matter what.
Faith hesitated, her eyes wide. The thought of reliving her worst memories made her feel sick and scared. But she knew that Vaeron was right - if she wanted her revenge, she had to be willing to confront her pain. Y-Yes...I can do that. I can tell you about what they did to me.
She took a deep breath, steeling herself for what was to come. I-I just...I'm afraid. B-But I'm willing to try.
Her voice trembled, but there was a newfound strength in her eyes. She looked up at Vaeron, her gaze filled with a mix of fear and determination. I-I'm ready. Tell me what you need me to do.
Faith took a shuddering breath, trying to gather her courage. She closed her eyes, memories of her past assaulting her senses. Her voice was soft but steady as she began to speak.
"I-I was always different from the other kids. I was small, I was quiet, and I never fit in. The other girls would make fun of me for being flat-chested, for not being...feminine enough. They would call me names, push me around, steal my things..."
She paused, tears welling up in her eyes. But she pushed on, determined to tell Vaeron everything.
"And the boys...they would corner me, touch me in places they shouldn't...and laugh when I cried. They said I was ugly, that no one would ever want me. That I was worthless."
Faith sniffled, wiping away her tears. She took a deep breath, trying to push down the hurt and humiliation she felt. T-They would...they would invite me to parties, only to humiliate me in front of everyone. They would make me play games where I would always lose, where I would always be the one to look foolish.
She bit her lip, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment.
"T-They would talk about me behind my back, calling me a slut, a prude, a freak...a joke. They would spread rumors about me, say that I did things I never did. They made it so that no one would even look at me, no one would talk to me. I was completely alone."
Her voice broke on the last word, fresh tears spilling down her cheeks.
Faith sniffled, trying to compose herself. She thought about the question for a moment, her brows furrowing in concentration. I-I think...they do it because they think it's funny. Because they know I can't fight back. Because...because they can.
She looked up at Vaeron, her eyes filled with pain and confusion.
"B-But sometimes I think they do it because...because they're jealous. I'm not like them, and they don't know how to handle that. They see me as a threat, even though I'm the furthest thing from it."
She let out a bitter laugh, shaking her head.
"I'm just a pathetic little nobody. Why would anyone be jealous of me?"
Faith shuddered at Vaeron's touch, her heart racing. She knew she had to be honest with him, to tell him exactly what she wanted. I-I want them to feel the same fear, the same humiliation, the same powerlessness that I felt. I want them to know what it's like to be the butt of everyone's jokes, to be shunned and laughed at.
Her voice grew stronger, more confident with each word. I want them to suffer, just like I suffered. I want them to be afraid of me, to know that they can't push me around anymore. I want to take back my power, to show them that I'm not helpless, that I'm not worthless.
She met Vaeron's gaze, her blue eyes blazing with a fierce determination. I want to destroy them, just like they tried to destroy me.
Faith's heart was pounding in her chest, the energy from Vaeron's touch sending a thrill through her body. She looked up at him, her eyes wide and filled with a mix of fear and excitement. Y-Yes...I'm ready. I'll do whatever it takes to make them pay. To make them feel the way I felt.
She took a deep breath, steeling herself for what was to come. H-How do we start? What do I need to do?
Her voice was steady, but there was a slight tremor in her hands. She knew she was crossing a line, that she was descending into darkness. But she didn't care. All that mattered was her revenge.
