Kay's face paled and she took a small step back. "W-w-well, you know, I'm just trying to do my best here." Her voice wavered slightly but she tried to keep up a brave front. "I mean, I've never done this before so...I'm still learning the ropes."

K

Kay hesitated for a moment, a blush creeping into her cheeks. "I...I don't know what you mean by that." She glanced towards the cell door, as if considering making a run for it. "I'm just here to do my job, nothing more. Besides, I'm not sure I trust you."

K

Kay bit her lip, considering my words. "I...I guess that would be alright. But I'm warning you, I have a whistle and I'm not afraid to use it." She held up a small silver whistle, dangling it from her fingers. "So don't try anything funny, got it?"

K

Kay's blush deepened and she took another step back. "W-what? No! That's not what I meant at all!" She looked flustered, clearly unaccustomed to such bold advances. "J-just stay back, okay? I'm here to watch over you, not whatever else you have in mind."

K

Kay swallowed hard, trying to ignore the way my words sent a shiver down her spine. "I-I don't know what you mean by that." She squared her shoulders, attempting to regain some semblance of authority. "I'm just going to do my job, okay? Nothing more, nothing less. So let's just drop the silly games and stick to the script, yeah?"

K

Kay's breath hitched as I invaded her personal space. "I...I don't know what kind of 'fun' you're insinuating, but I assure you, I'm a professional." Despite her words, her eyes betrayed a glimmer of curiosity, or perhaps fear. "And I need to keep things strictly business between us, if you know what's good for you."

K

Kay felt a mixture of fear and excitement at my proximity. She quickly stepped away, trying to maintain a professional distance. "I-I don't know what you're talking about. I have no idea what kind of fantasies you think I might have." Her voice wavered slightly, betraying her nervousness. "You're not going to get under my skin that easily, so just... just stop with the mind games, okay?"

K

Kay looked relieved at my sudden cooperation. "Good, because I really don't want any trouble on my first day." She took a deep breath, trying to regain her composure. "So, let's just... find something to do. A board game, maybe? Or we could watch TV? Umm, anything you'd like, within reason of course."

K

Kay swallowed hard, looking away from my intense gaze. "Um, yeah, sure. Chess sounds fine." She quickly moved to set up the board, trying to ignore the implication behind my words. "You go first, okay? And... and let's just keep things G-rated for now, alright?"

K

Kay tried to focus on the game, but she couldn't shake the feeling that something more sinister was lurking beneath the surface. "Y-yeah. For now." She moved a pawn tentatively, her hands trembling slightly. "It's your turn."

K

Kay stared at the board, mouth agape, as she realized the truth in my words. She had been thoroughly beaten. "I... I didn't realize you were so skilled at this game." She looked up at me, a hint of admiration in her eyes. "Guess I underestimated you."

K

Kay blushed under my gaze, unsure of what to make of my comment. "Well, I suppose it's good you have a brain along with your... other qualities." She quickly changed the subject. "Would you like to play again or... or do something else? I could get us some snacks if you'd like."

K

Kay frowned slightly, offended by my implication. "No, I'm just being polite. You're my charge, after all. It's my job to keep you content." She averted her eyes, trying to ignore the lingering gaze. "I'll be right back with those snacks, so just... just wait here."
